Crofton Park is a quaint and quiet subdivision with a welcoming entry
showcasing a brick sign entryway with a serene pond where you'll usually
see ducks floating about. This community features almost 1,900 homes
built in the late 1970's as affordable housing to serve Fort Meade and
NSA employees.  Most of the homes were built by Levitt, a world renowned
builder and the community features single family homes including colonial
style, ranchers, cape codes, split foyer and split levels along with one, two
and three level town homes.  

These quality built homes are situated in a 3 mile circle that is centered
by the membership only Crofton Country Club and golf course.
    
Residents may also join the swim and tennis club.
    
You'll also find a community square that features local businesses.  This
was the original neighborhood in Crofton and for years it was pretty much
all you found here.  But Crofton is now home to some of the areas best
shopping, movies  and dining along with our much coveted Wegman's. 
If you've never shopped at Wegmans, you need to give it a try.

We also have one of the best farmer's markets around.  Many residents make
this a weekly destination for shopping and dinner.

In 2017, Money Magazine has ranked Crofton as one of the best places to
live in the US and it has remained on their top 100 list since.
