ODENTON MD REAL ESTATE NEWS IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY:
Homeowners in Two Rivers were divided on an announcement that the
Koch and Classic Group LLC, master planned community of Two Rivers
is going to be offering new homes with no age restrictions in 2017.
It is expected that the new model homes will be built and ready for
viewing by Fall of 2017.  This changes the existing plans for over 2,000
age qualified homes to a community that will be just 1/3 age qualified
homes.

Two Rivers, originally designed as a 55+ community in part because of zoning
restrictions due to school over-crowding, sold over 250 homes before this
announcement was made.  Homeowners who specifically wanted age qualified
living in Anne Arundel County are not necessarily happy about this re-zoning.

Two Rivers is currently divided into four distinct age-restricted villages including
The Bluffs, The Highlands, Regency and The Watershed.

The new "all age" neighborhoods will be known as The Hamlets at Two Rivers
and will be "adjacent to, but separate from, the age restricted Villages".  The
Hamlets at Two Rivers will feature 5 distinct neighborhoods including The Retreat,
Heritage, Overlook & Cascades and will have their own clubhouse as well as
separate indoor and outdoor recreation facilities.
